As the time changes Technology changes with it. 'WWW'  we referred it as "world wide web". The versions of Web were also changed as technology changes like as Web 1.0 , Web 2.0 , Web 3.0.
So let's see the difference between these technology.

Web 1.0
Its the first version and used before 1999s.
Features

• Hyper linking and bookmarking on pages.
• No communication between server and user.
• Websites were Static.
• It allows only browsing content

  
Web 2.0
This version was developed in 1999
Features

• Better interaction.
• Include function like Video streaming , Online documents e.t.c.
• Introduction of web applications .
• Everything become Online and stores on servers.

Web 3.0
Known as third generation WWW.
Features

• Make internet experience amazing .
• Provides the Internet user with the opportunity to engage with people all over the world on a variety of devices. Ex-Twitter, 3G Cellular.
