Zync announces Z990 plus tablet with BIGFlix and ibibo apps Rs.6,490
Zync Global Private Limited has announced an upgrade to one of India’s very first ICS-running devices - the Zync Z990 tablet, which was launched in March, this year. Expanding on its predecessor’s offerings, the Zync Z990 plus comes with a new 1.5 Ghz processor and new design motif that’s ultra-portable with features, such as real-time multitasking and symmetrical multiprocessing capabilities.
Aimed at the youth segment, and to enhance the device’s media offerings, Zync has tied up with Big Flix - one of India’s online on-demand movie services and is offering a one month, free subscription. BIGFlix has created a dedicated Android application for the new tablet as a pre-loaded extra. Subscribers can choose from a wide collection of over 1,000 movies spanning categories, such as action, comedy, romance, drama, etc.
Commenting on the announcement, Ashish Garg, Director, Zync Global Private Limited, said, “Our strategy has been to provide unique product offerings coupled with distinctive value additions to customers. Our tie-up with BigFlix and ibibo extends our presence for tapping the youth in India.”

The tablet will be available at various retail outlets across 22 states in India through Balaji Solutions. It will be available for purchase on various e-commerce websites, such as Snapdeal.com, HomeShop18.com, seventymm.com, indiatimes.com, futurebazaar.com, naaptol.com. Add-on practical accessories, such as screen guard and a lycra sleeve, apart from the standard USB cable, earphone and a charger will be priced at 6,490.
