Hide Drives in Windows 7 Without using any Software

This is a very small trick to be done in windows 7 without any third party software.

Go to run and type=>> gpedit.msc

Now select User Configuration and then expand the Administrative Templates.

Here we have to expand Windows Components and then Windows Explorer.

In right side’s pane find out "Hide These specified drives in My computer" and double clicking on that and now a new pop-up window will appear.

Mark the “Enabled” option and below this check out Option, where you can choose the specified drive to hide or all drives to restrict.

Now if you want to retrieve your hard drive then just change the "Enable" option to "Not Configured "
